DuPont™ Kalrez® Spectrum™ 7075 (KP7075) is a 75 Shore A black perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) engineered for high-temperature service and exceptionally low compression set in demanding chemical and hydrocarbon processing environments. Designed for long-term sealing reliability, it supports a maximum continuous service temperature of 327°C (620°F) while maintaining strong mechanical properties and dimensional stability during temperature cycling. The carbon black filled formulation delivers low swell across a wide range of chemicals and very low compression set, helping seals retain load and sealing force over extended operating periods. Kalrez® 7075 is well suited for applications where heat resistance and long service life are critical, but it is not suggested for severe aqueous or amine-rich environments where alternative FFKM grades are typically preferred.
Kalrez® Spectrum™ 7075 is commonly used for O-rings, gaskets, and custom sealing components in mechanical seals, valves, flanges, and quick-connect couplings within chemical processing and fluid handling systems. Its low compression set performance makes it especially valuable in applications subject to frequent thermal cycling or long-duration high-temperature exposure. This material is often selected when improved sealing retention and reduced maintenance intervals are required.
