Parker’s L1077-75 is a 75 Shore A blue fluorosilicone (FVMQ) compound manufactured to AMS-R-25988 Type I, Class III, Grade 75 for fuel-resistant sealing in aerospace and industrial applications. It delivers reliable performance across a wide service temperature range of approximately -90°F to 350°F, maintaining flexibility at low temperatures and stability under dry heat. This compound offers strong resistance to aromatic mineral oils, petroleum oils, jet fuels, low molecular weight aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene and toluene, and chlorinated solvents. Its balanced mechanical properties support dependable sealing in static and moderate dynamic applications where fuel exposure and temperature cycling are present.

 

L1077-75 meets the requirements of MIL-R-25988B Class 3 and is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in fuel systems, aerospace components, and equipment exposed to hydrocarbons and solvents. It is not recommended for phosphate esters, acids, ketones, amines including ammonia, or automotive and aircraft brake fluids. This fluorosilicone grade is selected when fuel compatibility and low-temperature performance are primary design drivers.
