Parker’s LM158-60 is a 60 Shore A blue fluorosilicone (FVMQ) compound engineered for aerospace and industrial sealing applications that require reliable fuel and solvent resistance across extreme temperature ranges. Designed for operation from approximately -100°F to 350°F, it maintains flexibility in cold environments while delivering stable sealing performance at elevated temperatures. This material offers strong compatibility with fuels and solvents commonly encountered in aerospace systems, along with good resistance to aging and environmental exposure. Its balanced durometer provides improved conformability compared to higher-hardness grades while retaining sufficient strength for dependable static and light dynamic sealing.

LM158-60 is manufactured to AMS-R-25988 Type I, Class I, Grade 60 and meets AMS 3325 requirements, supporting use in regulated aerospace fuel system applications. It is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in aircraft components, fuel handling assemblies, and systems exposed to wide thermal cycling. This compound is selected when low-temperature elasticity, fuel compatibility, and aerospace specification compliance are critical. Canyon Components offers equivalent fluorosilicone materials designed to match the performance, temperature capability, and certification profile of Parker LM158-60.
