Parker’s LM159-70 is a 70 Shore A blue fluorosilicone (FVMQ) compound widely regarded as a benchmark material for low-temperature fuel sealing applications. Designed for reliable performance from -100°F to 350°F (-73°C to 177°C), it maintains elasticity and sealing force in extreme cold while remaining stable at elevated temperatures. The fluorosilicone polymer combines a silicone backbone for low-temperature flexibility with fluorinated side chains that provide excellent resistance to petroleum-based fuels, oils, and greases.
