Parker S0604-70 is a 70 Shore A rust-colored silicone (VMQ) compound engineered for O-rings and gaskets used in high-temperature and environmentally exposed sealing applications. With a service temperature range of -65°F to 450°F, this material provides reliable elasticity and sealing performance in dry heat, moderate weather exposure, ozone, diluted salt solutions, and select oils and greases. S0604-70 meets demanding aerospace and industrial specifications including AMS 3304, AMS 3357, A-A-59588 Class 2a and 2b Grade 70, and MIL-G-21569 Class 2, supporting consistent material performance and compliance. It is suitable for use with animal and vegetable oils, transformer coolants, and flame-resistant insulating fluids, but is not recommended for superheated steam above 250°F, strong acids or alkalis, hydrocarbon fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, or low molecular weight silicone oils.
