Canyon’s SI70OR01 is a 70 Shore A orange silicone (VMQ) compound, peroxide-cured for excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance, and longevity. Designed for versatile industrial applications, this material performs reliably across a broad service temperature range of -60°C to 205°C (-75°F to 400°F). It provides strong resistance to ozone, weathering, detergents, saltwater, and both vegetable and animal oils, making it ideal for sealing and insulating components exposed to harsh operating environments. SI70OR01 is also available in a variety of colors, durometers, and geometries to meet custom application needs.

 

Meeting ASTM D2000 M7GE705 and M5GE706 specifications, SI70OR01 ensures consistent performance and material quality across industrial, automotive, and food-grade sealing applications. Its peroxide-cured formulation enhances heat resistance and compression set properties, extending service life under continuous use.
