SI70OR01 Datasheet

Canyon’s SI70OR01 is a 70 Shore A orange silicone (VMQ) compound that is peroxide cured for excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance, and long service life. It performs reliably across a broad service temperature range of -60°C to 205°C (-75°F to 400°F) and provides strong resistance to ozone, weathering, detergents, saltwater, and both vegetable and animal oils. This balance of flexibility and durability makes it well suited for sealing and insulating components exposed to harsh industrial environments. SI70OR01 is available in multiple colors, durometers, and geometries to support custom sealing requirements.

 

SI70OR01 meets ASTM D2000 M7GE705 and M5GE706 specifications, ensuring consistent material quality across industrial, automotive, and food-related applications. Its peroxide-cured formulation improves heat resistance and compression set performance, supporting extended service life under continuous use. Canyon Components offers equivalent and custom silicone materials designed to meet or exceed the performance of Parker S1138-70 and similar peroxide-cured VMQ compounds.
