SI70YE00 is a 70 shore A yellow silicone (VMQ) compound designed for general purpose sealing applications where color identification and environmental resistance are important. This material provides reliable performance in O-rings and gaskets exposed to ozone, detergents, salt water, and vegetable and animal oils, making it well suited for industrial and outdoor use. Its bright yellow color allows for easy identification and sorting in maintenance or assembly environments, while maintaining flexibility across a service temperature range of -60°C to 205°C. SI70YE00 meets ASTM D2000 MGE706 requirements and can be compared to Parker S1138-70 when evaluating equivalent silicone sealing materials.
