Parker’s V1226-75 is a 75 Shore A brown fluorocarbon (FKM) compound engineered for applications requiring low compression set and excellent chemical resistance. It provides strong performance in contact with oils, fuels, and aggressive chemicals across a service temperature range of -15°F to 400°F. The compound exhibits outstanding compatibility with mineral oils, IRM 901–903 test oils, nonflammable hydraulic fluids, silicone oils, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. V1226-75 also offers exceptional resistance to ozone, weathering, and oxidation, ensuring long-term sealing integrity in both static and dynamic applications.

Meeting AMS 7276 and UL listing requirements, this compound delivers dependable performance in aerospace, automotive, and industrial environments where durability and chemical stability are essential. It achieves excellent sealing retention with reduced compression set, extending service life in high-vacuum and high-temperature systems. However, it is not recommended for glycol-based brake fluids, amines, alkalis, superheated steam, or low molecular weight organic acids. Canyon Components offers equivalent FKM materials that match or exceed the performance of Parker V1226-75 for oil, fuel, and chemical sealing applications.
