VT90BK00 is a 90 shore A black FKM Type A compound designed as a durable, cost-effective solution for high hardness sealing applications. Its increased durometer improves extrusion resistance and structural stability, making it ideal for O-rings and gaskets used in high pressure systems, tight clearances, and demanding industrial environments. This material provides excellent resistance to heat, fuels, oils, and a wide range of chemicals, along with strong durability against ozone, weathering, and aging. With a service temperature range of -26°C to 225°C, VT90BK00 meets ASTM D2000 M2HK910 requirements and can be compared to Parker compounds such as V0709-90 and VA153-90 when evaluating equivalent FKM materials.
FKM, commonly referred to as Viton®, is a high performance fluoroelastomer widely used in O-rings and gaskets where resistance to fuels, oils, and elevated temperatures is essential.
