CP90BK91 Datasheet

Canrez® CP90BK91 is a 90 Shore A black FFKM compound engineered for ultra-low-temperature sealing applications that also demand high durometer strength, chemical durability, and decompression resistance. It provides near-universal chemical resistance while maintaining elasticity and sealing performance down to -46°C (-51°F), making it well suited for cold service environments where standard FFKM materials become brittle. With a service temperature range of -46°C to 240°C (-51°F to 464°F), CP90BK91 maintains low compression set and dimensional stability under extreme thermal cycling. The compound is tested to NORSOK M-710 and API 6A sour gas requirements, supporting reliable performance in pressure-cycling and sour gas conditions.

 

CP90BK91 is commonly used in ultra-low-temperature valves and pumps, chemical processing equipment, and low-temperature oil and gas applications where both cryogenic flexibility and mechanical robustness are required. Its high durometer improves extrusion resistance while preserving sealing integrity in demanding static and dynamic conditions. This Canrez® formulation offers a cost-effective solution for harsh cold-service environments requiring chemical resistance, AED capability, and long service life.
