CP90BK01 Datasheet

Canrez® CP90BK01 is a 90 Shore A black FFKM compound engineered as Canyon’s flagship AED (Anti-Explosive Decompression) material for extreme sealing environments. It provides near-universal chemical resistance, excellent high-temperature durability, and low compression set—all while maintaining a lower cost compared to other popular brands of FFKM materials. CP90BK01 is tested to NACE TM0297 and NORSOK M-710 standards, ensuring reliable performance in rapid gas decompression and sour gas conditions. With a service temperature range of -15°C to 310°C (5°F to 590°F), it offers exceptional stability under thermal and chemical stress.

 

CP90BK01 is ideal for oil and gas, aerospace, and chemical processing industries where exposure to aggressive fluids and high-pressure conditions is common. It performs reliably in steam environments up to 150°C (300°F) and in amine exposure up to 71°C (160°F). This Canrez® formulation delivers durable sealing performance, compliance with critical industry standards, and cost-effective reliability for the most demanding AED and high-temperature applications.
