The Parker C0944-70 Neoprene (Chloroprene, CR) compound is a 70 durometer red elastomer developed for general-purpose O-rings and gaskets in a wide range of industrial applications. It delivers dependable performance with paraffin-based mineral oils, silicone lubricants, water, ammonia, and refrigerants, while maintaining elasticity and sealing strength from -35°F to 250°F. The compound offers improved resistance to ozone, weathering, and aging compared to nitrile, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Its balanced mechanical properties and durability make it suitable for dynamic and static sealing conditions alike.

C0944-70 conforms to ASTM D2000 M3BC710 specifications, ensuring consistent quality and chemical stability. While versatile, it is not recommended for use with aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, or polar solvents such as ketones and esters.
