Canrez® CP80BK21 is an 80 Shore A black FFKM compound engineered as Canyon’s premium perfluoroelastomer for extreme chemical and thermal environments. It provides best-in-class steam resistance along with near-universal chemical compatibility, making it ideal for demanding process applications. CP80BK21 is anti-explosive decompression (AED) tested to NACE TM0297, FDA 21 CFR compliant, and meets USP Class VI <87> and <88> requirements for medical and high-purity use. With a service temperature range of -15°C to 320°C (5°F to 610°F), it delivers excellent sealing integrity, low compression set, and long-term stability in aggressive media.

 

CP80BK21 is designed for critical applications across semiconductor, oil and gas, chemical processing, nuclear, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. It performs exceptionally well in steam-in-place sterilization, amine service up to 80°C (180°F), and continuous steam exposure up to 315°C (600°F). This Canrez® formulation combines regulatory compliance, superior steam and amine resistance, and thermal endurance for reliable sealing in the most demanding industrial and high-purity environments.
