CP90BK00 Datasheet

Canrez® CP90BK00 is a 90 Shore A black FFKM compound engineered as a high-strength, general-purpose sealing material for chemically aggressive process environments. It provides excellent chemical resistance for exposure to methanol, MTBE, acids, bases, amines, and other harsh media commonly found in chemical processing operations. With a service temperature range of -4°C to 230°C (20°F to 445°F), CP90BK00 maintains low compression set, strong mechanical integrity, and reliable sealing performance under pressure. The high durometer improves extrusion resistance and supports use in applications where robust, dimensionally stable seals are required.

 

CP90BK00 is commonly used in valves, pumps, mechanical seals, semiconductor equipment, chemical processing systems, and oil and gas applications. Its resistance to explosive decompression makes it suitable for pressure-cycling environments where conventional elastomers may blister or crack. This Canrez® formulation offers a practical, cost-effective FFKM option for demanding industrial sealing requirements that prioritize strength, chemical breadth, and durability.
