CP90BK03 Datasheet

Canrez® CP90BK03 is a 90 Shore A black FFKM compound engineered for anti-explosive decompression (AED) sealing applications that require broad chemical compatibility and dependable thermal performance at a cost-effective price point. Tested to NORSOK M-710, it delivers reliable sealing integrity in rapid gas decompression and pressure-cycling environments commonly found in oil and gas service. With a service temperature range of -10°C to 240°C (14°F to 464°F) and short excursions down to -15°C (5°F) and up to 270°C (518°F), CP90BK03 maintains low compression set and mechanical stability under harsh operating conditions. The high durometer improves extrusion resistance, supporting long service life in demanding static and dynamic applications.

 

CP90BK03 is widely used in oil and gas equipment, chemical processing systems, and aerospace applications where resistance to aggressive chemicals and decompression is critical. For applications requiring higher continuous AED temperature capability, Canrez® CP90BK01 is recommended with a rating up to 310°C (590°F). This Canrez® formulation provides a practical AED-capable FFKM solution for environments that demand chemical breadth, durability, and controlled cost.
