EP70BK26 Datasheet

Canyon’s EP70BK26 is a 70 Shore A black EPDM compound that is sulfur cured and internally filled with PTFE to enhance lubricity and reduce installation friction. This formulation delivers reliable environmental resistance with good heat stability, abrasion resistance, and low compression set, making it well suited for general-purpose sealing where smoother assembly and reduced stick-slip are desired. With a service temperature range of -55°C to 130°C (-67°F to 266°F), EP70BK26 maintains flexibility and sealing integrity across common industrial operating conditions. The PTFE-filled design supports improved performance in dynamic or sliding interfaces compared to unfilled EPDM grades.

EP70BK26 meets ASTM D2000 M2BA707 requirements and is commonly used in industrial equipment, enclosures, and applications where weathering resistance and easier installation are priorities. Its balanced mechanical properties provide dependable performance in static and light dynamic seals without the cost of specialty elastomers.
