EP80BK00 Datasheet

Canyon’s EP80BK00 is an 80 Shore A black EPDM compound that is peroxide cured for improved heat resistance, aging stability, and long-term sealing performance. Designed as a cost-effective, general-purpose material, it offers excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, and environmental exposure while maintaining good abrasion resistance and low compression set. With a service temperature range of -57°C to 150°C (-70°F to 300°F), EP80BK00 performs reliably across wide thermal cycles in both indoor and outdoor industrial applications. Its higher durometer provides improved extrusion resistance and dimensional stability in static and moderate dynamic sealing conditions.

 

EP80BK00 meets ASTM D2000 2DA815 requirements and is commonly used in industrial equipment, enclosures, and general sealing applications where peroxide-cured EPDM is preferred for thermal and aging performance. This material is frequently cross-referenced as an alternative to Parker E0540-80, EB152-70, and E883-70 for comparable EPDM sealing needs.
