FF202-90 Datasheet
Parofluor FF202-90 FFKM, 90A, Black, Low Compression Set, Extrusion Resistant
Parker’s FF202-90 is a 90 Shore A perfluorinated elastomer (FFKM) compound engineered for ultra high-temperature sealing in chemically aggressive environments. With a recommended service temperature range of 5°F to 608°F, it delivers exceptional thermal stability while maintaining sealing integrity in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, polar solvents such as acetone, MEK, and dioxane, and a wide range of inorganic and organic acids. The compound also performs well in high-vacuum applications with minimal weight loss, as well as in petroleum oil and wet or dry chlorine exposure. Its higher durometer provides improved extrusion resistance and dimensional stability under pressure and elevated temperatures.
FF202-90 is commonly used in O-rings, gaskets, and custom seals for high-temperature chemical processing equipment, vacuum systems, and severe service industrial applications. It is not recommended for fluorinated refrigerants, uranium hexafluoride, molten metals, gaseous or alkali metals, or hot water and steam. This ultra high-temperature FFKM formulation is selected where maximum heat capability and chemical resistance are required without steam exposure. Canyon Components offers equivalent FFKM materials designed to match or exceed the performance of Parker FF202-90 for extreme temperature and chemical sealing applications.
