FS60BU00 Datasheet

Canyon’s FS60BU00 is a 60 Shore A blue Fluorosilicone compound engineered for fuel-resistant sealing applications that require stable performance across extreme temperatures and harsh chemical exposure. Manufactured to MIL-DTL-25988, AMS-R-25988, and MIL-R-25988 Class 1 Type 1 and Type 2 Grade 60, this material provides reliable flexibility, good compression set resistance, and consistent mechanical properties. With a service temperature range of -73°C to 177°C (-100°F to 350°F), FS60BU00 maintains sealing integrity in both cryogenic conditions and elevated temperature environments. The fluorosilicone chemistry delivers excellent resistance to fuels, oils, aging, weathering, and ultraviolet exposure where standard silicone materials fall short.

 

FS60BU00 meets ASTM D2000 FK606 requirements and is commonly used in aerospace, defense, and industrial applications involving aviation fuels, automotive fuels, and chemically aggressive atmospheres. It is well suited for O-rings and gaskets used in fuel systems, sensors, enclosures, and other components exposed to wide thermal cycling and environmental stress. This compound offers a dependable balance of fuel resistance, temperature capability, and compliance with military specifications for demanding sealing environments.
