FS60BU25 Datasheet

Canyon’s SF60BU25 is a 60 Shore A blue Fluorosilicone compound engineered for applications that require fuel resistance, environmental durability, and added fungal resistance. The formulation delivers good flexibility and compression set resistance while maintaining excellent stability across a wide service temperature range of -73°C to 177°C (-100°F to 350°F). Its fluorosilicone chemistry provides strong resistance to fuels, oils, aging, weathering, and ultraviolet exposure, making it suitable for demanding aerospace, automotive, and industrial environments. The added fungal resistance supports long-term performance in humid, enclosed, or contamination-prone conditions where standard elastomers may degrade.

 

SF60BU25 meets ASTM D2000 M2FK606 requirements and is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in fuel systems, sealed enclosures, and components exposed to biological growth risks. Its balanced mechanical properties make it suitable for both static and light dynamic sealing where reliability across extreme temperatures and chemical exposure is required. This material provides a practical fluorosilicone solution for applications that demand both fuel compatibility and resistance to fungal growth.
