FS70BU10 Datasheet

Canyon’s FS70BU10 is a 70 Shore A blue Fluorosilicone compound designed as a general-purpose sealing material for applications requiring fuel resistance, flexibility, and environmental durability. It provides good compression set resistance and elastic recovery while maintaining excellent resistance to fuels, oils, aging, weathering, and ultraviolet exposure. With a service temperature range of -75°C to 180°C (-103°F to 356°F), FS70BU10 performs reliably in both extreme cold and elevated temperature environments where standard silicone materials may fail. This compound is well suited for industrial, automotive, and aerospace-adjacent applications where MIL or AMS certification is not required.

 

FS70BU10 meets ASTM D2000 M2FK706 requirements and is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets exposed to fuel vapors, oil mist, and harsh outdoor conditions. For applications that require military or aerospace specifications, Canyon’s FS70BU00 is recommended. FS70BU10 is frequently cross-referenced to comparable Parker® Fluorosilicone materials for general-purpose fluorosilicone sealing applications.
