HN70BK00 Datasheet

Canyon’s HN70BK00 is a 70 Shore A black HNBR compound engineered for sealing applications that require improved heat resistance and chemical stability compared to standard NBR materials. Hydrogenated NBR chemistry enhances thermal performance, abrasion resistance, and long-term durability while maintaining low compression set for reliable sealing. With a service temperature range of -35°C to 163°C (-30°F to 325°F), HN70BK00 performs well in demanding industrial environments exposed to elevated temperatures and aggressive fluids. Its strong tensile strength and elongation support dependable performance in both static and moderate dynamic sealing conditions.

 

HN70BK00 meets ASTM D2000 M4DH716 requirements and is commonly used in automotive, oil and gas, and industrial equipment where standard NBR is insufficient. It is frequently cross-referenced as an alternative to Parker N1173-70, KA174-75, and KA157-70 for comparable HNBR sealing applications.
