N0507-90 Datasheet
Parker, N0507-90 NBR, 90A, Black, AMS-P-5510, Low Temp
Parker’s N0507-90 is a 90 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound engineered for low-temperature sealing applications that require high hardness and strong extrusion resistance. With a service temperature range of -65°F to 180°F, this material maintains stiffness and sealing integrity in cold environments while providing dependable performance in contact with petroleum-based oils. Its high durometer makes it well suited for applications where dimensional stability and resistance to deformation under pressure are critical. The compound is qualified to AMS-P-5510, supporting use in regulated aerospace and industrial applications.
N0507-90 is commonly used for O-rings, gaskets, and support elements in hydraulic systems, fuel handling components, and cold-service industrial equipment where softer nitrile materials may extrude or lose shape. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone exposure, or polar solvents. This nitrile grade provides a practical balance of low-temperature capability and high hardness for demanding sealing designs. Canyon Components offers equivalent NBR materials designed to match the low-temperature performance, hardness, and AMS-P-5510 compliance of Parker N0507-90.
