N0702-90 Datasheet

Parker’s N0702-90 is a 90 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound engineered for sealing applications that require low compression set, high hardness, and improved extrusion resistance. Qualified to ASTM D2000 7BG915, it delivers reliable sealing performance across a service temperature range of -30°F to 275°F while maintaining dimensional stability under sustained load. This compound is well suited for petroleum-based oils and is also compatible with water up to 212°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids, making it effective in hydraulic and industrial fluid systems. Its high durometer formulation helps preserve seal integrity in high-pressure static and moderate dynamic applications where softer nitrile materials may deform.

 

N0702-90 is commonly used for O-rings, gaskets, and sealing components in pumps, valves, cylinders, and industrial equipment where low compression set and long service life are critical. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone exposure, or polar solvents. This compound provides a dependable solution for demanding oil-service applications that require stiffness and sealing force retention over time.
