N0750-80 Datasheet

Parker, N0750-80 NBR, 80A, Black, Carboxylated

Parker’s N0750-80 is an 80 Shore A black carboxylated nitrile rubber (XNBR) compound engineered for sealing applications that require enhanced abrasion resistance, improved mechanical strength, and controlled compression behavior. The carboxylated nitrile chemistry provides better tear resistance and wear performance compared to standard NBR, while maintaining reliable oil resistance and dimensional stability. With a service temperature range of -25°F to 250°F, N0750-80 performs well in petroleum-based oils, water up to 212°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids. Its higher durometer supports improved extrusion resistance in static and moderate dynamic sealing environments.

N0750-80 is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in hydraulic equipment, pumps, valves, and industrial machinery where wear resistance and seal longevity are critical. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone exposure, or polar solvents. This compound offers a practical upgrade over conventional nitrile materials when abrasion and mechanical durability are primary concerns. Canyon Components offers equivalent carboxylated nitrile materials designed to match the hardness, wear resistance, and oil compatibility of Parker N0750-80 for demanding industrial sealing applications.
