Parker, N0756-75 NBR, 75A, Black, AMS-P-83461

Parker’s N0756-75 is a 75 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound engineered for low-temperature sealing applications that require reliable oil resistance and extended temperature capability. Qualified to ASTM D2000/J200 M7BG810 and AMS-P-83461, it delivers dependable sealing performance across a service temperature range of -65°F to 275°F, maintaining flexibility in cold environments while retaining strength at elevated temperatures. The compound is compatible with petroleum-based oils, water up to 212°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and aerospace-adjacent fluid systems. Its balanced durometer supports low compression set and consistent sealing in static and light dynamic applications.

N0756-75 is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and equipment exposed to cold starts and temperature cycling. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone exposure, or polar solvents. This material is selected when low-temperature elasticity and documented specification compliance are critical. Canyon Components offers equivalent NBR materials designed to match the low-temperature performance, hardness, and AMS-P-83461 compliance of Parker N0756-75.
