N1069-70 Datasheet
Parker, N1069-70 NBR, 70A, Black, FDA
Parker’s N1069-70 is a 70 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound developed for sealing applications that require FDA compliance along with reliable oil and fluid resistance. Designed to operate within a service temperature range of -30°F to 180°F, it provides dependable sealing performance in contact with petroleum-based oils, water up to 212°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids. The compound maintains good compression set resistance and mechanical stability, supporting consistent sealing in static and light dynamic O-ring and gasket applications. Its FDA-qualified formulation makes it suitable for regulated environments where material compliance and traceability are required.
N1069-70 is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in food processing equipment, packaging machinery, and industrial systems that require FDA-approved elastomers with oil resistance. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone exposure, or polar solvents. This material provides a practical nitrile solution when food-grade compliance and general-purpose sealing performance must be balanced. Canyon Components offers equivalent FDA-compliant NBR materials designed to match the temperature capability, fluid compatibility, and regulatory profile of Parker N1069-70.
