N1500-75 Datasheet

Parker, N1500-75 NBR, 75A, Black, Low Swell, UL Listed, Fuel applications

Parker’s N1500-75 is a 75 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound engineered for fuel and fluid sealing applications where low swell, dimensional stability, and UL listing are important. Qualified to ASTM D2000 M4BK710, it delivers reliable sealing performance across a service temperature range of -35°F to 212°F while maintaining good compression set resistance and mechanical strength. This compound is compatible with petroleum-based oils, water up to 212°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids, making it suitable for fuel-handling and general industrial environments. Its low swell characteristics help preserve seal geometry and performance when exposed to hydrocarbons over extended service periods.

N1500-75 is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in fuel systems, pumps, valves, and industrial equipment where UL recognition and controlled swell behavior are required. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone exposure, or polar solvents. This material provides a dependable balance of fuel compatibility, hardness, and regulatory compliance for everyday sealing applications. Canyon Components offers equivalent NBR materials designed to match the low swell behavior, temperature capability, and UL-listed performance profile of Parker N1500-75.
