NL151-50 Datasheet
Parker, NL151-50 NBR, 50A, Black, Internally Lubed
Parker’s NL151-50 is a 50 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound formulated with internal lubrication to reduce friction during installation and improve performance in dynamic sealing applications. This internally lubricated nitrile material provides reliable resistance to petroleum-based oils, water up to 180°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids, while maintaining flexibility and sealing integrity. With a service temperature range of -55°F to 225°F, NL151-50 is well suited for O-rings and gaskets used in industrial equipment, hydraulic components, and general machinery where ease of assembly and reduced wear are important. Its low durometer supports good conformability and sealing at lower clamp loads in static and light dynamic applications.
NL151-50 is commonly selected for applications where standard nitrile performance is desired with added lubricity to minimize installation damage and friction. It is not recommended for exposure to aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone, or polar solvents. Canyon Components offers equivalent internally lubricated NBR materials that match the performance characteristics of Parker NL151-50 for oil-resistant O-rings and gaskets across a wide range of industrial sealing applications.
