NM071-70 Datasheet

Parker’s NM071-70 is a 70 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound manufactured to AMS-R-7362 requirements for oil-resistant sealing applications. This material provides good abrasion resistance and low compression set, supporting stable long-term sealing performance in static and light dynamic O-rings and gaskets. With a service temperature range of -60°F to 180°F (-51°C to 82°C), NM071-70 performs reliably in contact with petroleum-based oils and common industrial fluids while maintaining flexibility at lower temperatures. Its balanced durometer and cost-effective formulation make it well suited for aerospace-adjacent, industrial, and general machinery sealing needs.

 

NM071-70 is commonly used where AMS compliance and consistent nitrile performance are required without the added cost of specialty elastomers. It is selected for applications prioritizing oil resistance, durability, and repeatable material properties.
