S0455-70 Datasheet

Parker S0455-70 is a 70 Shore A rust-colored silicone (VMQ/PVMQ) compound designed for O-rings and gaskets used in high-temperature sealing applications. With a recommended service temperature range of -65°F to 450°F, and short-term capability up to 500°F, this material provides excellent thermal stability and reliable elasticity across wide temperature cycles. S0455-70 performs well in dry heat environments and offers good resistance to ozone, aging, and weathering, making it suitable for industrial and aerospace sealing applications exposed to elevated temperatures. It meets ASTM D2000 M7GE705 requirements, supporting consistent physical properties including elongation and specific gravity control. This compound is not recommended for exposure to aggressive chemicals such as ketones, strong acids, or brake fluids.
