S0383-70 Datasheet

Parker S0383-70 is a 70 Shore A rust-colored silicone (VMQ) compound engineered for O-rings and gaskets requiring extreme low-temperature flexibility and stable performance across wide thermal swings. With a service temperature range of -175°F to 400°F, this material excels in dry heat, moderate water exposure, and environments demanding strong resistance to ozone, aging, and weathering. S0383-70 meets A-A-59588 Class 1a and 1b, Grade 70, as well as AMS 3337 requirements, making it suitable for aerospace, military, and industrial sealing applications where reliability at very low temperatures is critical. It is compatible with fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFD-R and HFD-S) and limited petroleum oil exposure, but is not recommended for ketones, acids, silicone oils, or automotive and aircraft brake fluids.
