Canrez® CP90BK01 is a 90 Shore A black FFKM compound engineered as Canyon’s flagship solution for anti-explosive decompression (AED) applications requiring broad chemical compatibility and high-temperature durability. Tested to both NACE TM0297 and NORSOK M-710, it delivers reliable sealing performance in rapid gas decompression and sour gas environments commonly encountered in oil and gas service. With a service temperature range of -15°C to 310°C (5°F to 590°F), CP90BK01 maintains low compression set and mechanical stability under severe thermal, pressure, and chemical exposure. Its formulation is designed to withstand demanding operating conditions while offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional high-end AED perfluoroelastomers.

 

CP90BK01 is widely used in oil and gas equipment, chemical processing systems, and aerospace applications where resistance to pressure cycling, heat, and aggressive media is critical. It performs reliably in steam service up to 150°C (300°F) and amine exposure up to 71°C (160°F), supporting long service life in harsh environments. This Canrez® formulation provides a dependable AED-capable FFKM solution for critical sealing applications requiring proven decompression resistance and chemical durability.
