Parker’s E0652-90 is a 90 Shore A black EPDM compound engineered for sealing applications that require higher hardness, good extrusion resistance, and strong environmental durability. Qualified to ASTM D2000 M2AA907, it performs reliably across a service temperature range of -60°F to 250°F while maintaining sealing integrity under pressure. This compound is well suited for hot water and steam service, glycol-based brake fluids, phosphate-ester hydraulic fluids, silicone oils and greases, many organic and inorganic acids, cleaning agents, alkalis, and a wide range of polar solvents. Its inherent resistance to ozone, weathering, and aging supports long-term performance in demanding industrial and automotive environments.

E0652-90 is commonly used in static sealing applications where stiffness and dimensional stability are critical, such as braking systems, fluid handling equipment, and industrial machinery exposed to water-based or polar media. It is not recommended for mineral oils, greases, fuels, or other hydrocarbon-based substances. Canyon Components offers equivalent EPDM materials designed to meet or exceed the performance of Parker E0652-90 for high-durometer, steam-resistant, and chemical sealing applications.
