This compound is well suited for petroleum-based oils and is also compatible with water up to 212°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids, making it effective in hydraulic and industrial fluid systems. Its high durometer formulation helps preserve seal integrity in high-pressure static and moderate dynamic applications where softer nitrile materials may deform.
N0702-90 is commonly used for O-rings, gaskets, and sealing components in pumps, valves, cylinders, and industrial equipment where low compression set and long service life are critical. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone exposure, or polar solvents.
