Parker’s N0757-70 is a 70 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound developed for sealing applications that require NSF 61 approval and dependable performance in potable water and fluid handling systems. Approved to NSF Standard 61 and UL listed, it operates reliably across a service temperature range of -30°F to 225°F while maintaining good compression set resistance and mechanical stability. This compound is compatible with petroleum-based oils, water up to 212°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids, making it suitable for a broad range of industrial and municipal sealing applications. Its balanced hardness supports consistent sealing in static and light dynamic O-ring and gasket designs.
N0757-70 is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in drinking water systems, plumbing components, pumps, valves, and general industrial equipment where regulatory compliance and material reliability are required. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone exposure, or polar solvents.
