It is FDA, USDA, and USP Class VI compliant, making it suitable for regulated food, pharmaceutical, and medical sealing applications where cleanliness and material stability are critical. S0317-60 is commonly used where fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFD-R and HFD-S) and limited petroleum oil exposure are present, but it is not recommended for ketones, acids, silicone oils, or brake fluids.
