Parker’s V1006-75 is a 75 Shore A black Aflas® (TFE/P) compound engineered to meet AMS 7255 requirements for high-performance sealing in chemically aggressive and high-temperature environments. It delivers exceptional resistance to bases, amines, acids, sour oil and gas, phosphate esters, steam, alcohols, and petroleum oils, making it well suited for demanding industrial and oilfield applications. With a service temperature range of 25°F to 450°F, V1006-75 maintains low compression set and reliable sealing integrity across prolonged thermal exposure. Its formulation provides long-term stability in corrosive and oxidative conditions where many fluorocarbon materials degrade.

 

V1006-75 also offers excellent resistance to ozone, aging, and weathering, supporting dependable performance in both static and dynamic sealing applications. It is not recommended for use with aromatic fuels, ketones, ethers, carbon tetrachloride, acetic acid, or other non-polar solvents. This Aflas® compound is commonly selected for oil and gas, chemical processing, and high-temperature systems that require resistance to amines and steam. Canyon Components offers equivalent Aflas® (TFE/P) materials designed to meet similar chemical, thermal, and performance requirements.
