Parker V1263-75 is a 75 shore A black FKM compound engineered for low swell performance in flex fuel and blended fuel environments. This UL listed material meets ASTM D2000 M7HK710 requirements and is well suited for O-rings and gaskets used in fuel systems exposed to ethanol blends, gasoline, and other aggressive hydrocarbons. It provides excellent resistance to petroleum-based oils, aromatic and chlorinated solvents, and high vacuum conditions, while maintaining durability against ozone, weathering, and aging. With a typical service temperature range of approximately -15°F to 400°F, V1263-75 can be compared to other low swell FKM compounds when evaluating equivalent sealing materials for modern fuel applications.

FKM, commonly referred to as Viton®, is a high performance fluoroelastomer widely used in O-rings and gaskets where resistance to fuels, oils, and elevated temperatures is essential. Low swell FKM compounds are specifically formulated to minimize volume change in aggressive fuel blends, helping maintain sealing integrity and dimensional stability over time. These materials are commonly used in automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, and industrial applications where chemical compatibility and long-term performance are critical. While highly versatile, FKM materials are generally not recommended for hot water, steam, or certain polar solvents, making proper material selection essential.
