Parofluor® (Parker) and Parker Seal® (Parker) V8581-90 is manufactured with the following features & specifications: Plasma Etch Resistant, Low Stiction. V8581-90-OR-012 is AS568 size -012 O-Ring also referred to as 1.78mm (Cross Sectional Diameter (CS)) x 9.25mm (Inside Diameter (ID)).

Parofluor V8581-90 is a 90 shore A white FFKM compound engineered for high performance sealing in plasma etch and semiconductor environments where low stiction and ultra high chemical resistance are critical. This material offers excellent compatibility with a wide range of aggressive media including hydrocarbons, polar solvents, acids, water, steam, and chlorine, making it ideal for O-rings and gaskets used in high purity processing and vacuum systems. It provides strong thermal stability up to 300°C along with minimal weight loss in vacuum conditions, supporting long service life in demanding applications. V8581-90 can be compared to other high purity FFKM materials, while Canrez® FFKM compounds are often selected as a preferred alternative due to competitive pricing, availability, and comparable performance.

 

FFKM, or perfluoroelastomer, represents the highest level of elastomer performance for O-rings and gaskets, combining near universal chemical resistance with extreme temperature capability.
