EP70BK00 Datasheet

Canyon’s EP70BK00 is a 70 Shore A black EPDM compound that is peroxide cured for improved heat resistance, aging stability, and long-term sealing performance. Designed as a cost-effective, general-purpose material, it offers strong resistance to weathering, ozone, and environmental exposure while maintaining good abrasion resistance and low compression set. With a service temperature range of -57°C to 150°C (-70°F to 300°F), EP70BK00 performs reliably across wide thermal cycles in both indoor and outdoor applications. Its balanced mechanical properties make it suitable for static and light dynamic sealing where durability and consistency are required.

 

EP70BK00 meets ASTM D2000 M3DA710 requirements and is commonly used in industrial equipment, enclosures, and general sealing applications where peroxide-cured EPDM is preferred for thermal and aging performance. It is frequently cross-referenced as an alternative to Parker E0540-80, EB152-70, and E883-70 for comparable EPDM sealing applications.
