EP70BK01 Datasheet

Canyon’s EP70BK01 is a 70 Shore A black EPDM compound that is sulfur cured for reliable flexibility, abrasion resistance, and cost-effective sealing performance. It provides strong resistance to weathering, ozone, and environmental exposure, along with good heat resistance and low compression set for consistent long-term sealing. With a service temperature range of -55°C to 130°C (-67°F to 266°F), EP70BK01 performs well across typical industrial and outdoor applications where durability and affordability are key. Its balanced mechanical properties make it suitable for static and light dynamic seals that must accommodate surface irregularities and vibration.

 

EP70BK01 meets ASTM D2000 M3BA710 and M4CA710 requirements and is commonly used in industrial equipment, enclosures, and general-purpose sealing applications. It is frequently cross-referenced as an alternative to Parker E0603-70 for comparable sulfur-cured EPDM sealing needs.
