Canyon’s FS70BU00 is a 70 Shore A blue Fluorosilicone compound engineered for fuel-resistant sealing applications that require reliable performance across extreme temperature ranges. Manufactured in compliance with MIL-DTL-25988 and AMS-R-25988, MIL-R-25988 Class 1 Type 1 and Type 2 Grade 70, it provides consistent flexibility, good compression set resistance, and stable mechanical properties. With a service temperature range of -73°C to 177°C (-100°F to 350°F), FS70BU00 maintains sealing integrity in both cryogenic conditions and elevated temperature environments. The fluorosilicone chemistry delivers excellent resistance to fuels, oils, aging, weathering, and ultraviolet exposure where standard silicone materials are insufficient.

 

FS70BU00 is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial systems exposed to aviation fuels, automotive fuels, and chemically aggressive atmospheres. Its low-temperature performance, including a TR-10 value as low as -64°C, supports dependable sealing in cold-start and high-altitude applications. This compound offers a balanced solution for applications requiring fuel compatibility, environmental durability, and military-spec compliance without QPL restrictions.
