NM506-65 Datasheet

Parker’s NM506-65 is a 65 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound qualified to AMS 7271 for oil-resistant sealing applications requiring consistent mechanical performance and durability. This material offers good abrasion resistance and low compression set, supporting reliable long-term sealing in O-rings and gaskets used in static and light dynamic service. With a service temperature range of -71°F to 180°F (-57°C to 82°C), NM506-65 maintains flexibility at low temperatures while performing well in contact with petroleum-based oils and common industrial fluids. Its mid-range durometer provides a balance of conformability and extrusion resistance, making it suitable for aerospace-adjacent, industrial, and general machinery applications.
