NW163-75 Datasheet

Parker, NW163-75 NBR, 75A, Rust, Internally Lubed

Parker’s NW163-75 is a 75 Shore A rust-colored nitrile rubber (NBR) compound formulated with internal lubrication to reduce friction during installation and improve performance in dynamic sealing applications. This internally lubricated nitrile provides good abrasion resistance and low compression set, supporting consistent sealing performance in O-rings and gaskets exposed to petroleum-based oils, water up to 180°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids. With a service temperature range of -30°F to 225°F, NW163-75 maintains elasticity and sealing force across typical industrial temperature cycling. Its mid-high durometer offers a practical balance of conformability and extrusion resistance for static and light dynamic service.

NW163-75 is commonly selected where ease of assembly and reduced installation damage are important without sacrificing standard nitrile durability. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone, or polar solvents. Canyon Components offers equivalent internally lubricated NBR materials that match or exceed the performance of Parker NW163-75 for oil-resistant O-rings and gaskets used across a wide range of industrial sealing applications.
