PT60WH10 Datasheet

PT60WH10 is Canyon’s 25% glass fiber filled, 60 Shore D white PTFE material engineered for high-performance sealing components used alongside O-rings and gaskets in aggressive service environments. This glass-filled PTFE grade delivers extreme chemical resistance, excellent high- and low-temperature stability, reduced dynamic friction, and improved wear resistance compared to virgin PTFE. With a continuous service temperature range of -268°C to 260°C (-450°F to 500°F) and short excursions up to 288°C (550°F), PT60WH10 maintains dimensional stability and mechanical integrity under severe thermal cycling. The glass fiber reinforcement enhances load-bearing capability, making this material well suited for high-pressure and dynamic sealing applications.

 

PT60WH10 is commonly specified for high-pressure backup rings, dynamic spring-energized seals, and precision components used in semiconductor manufacturing and chemical processing equipment. It performs reliably in contact with aggressive solvents such as MEK, DMF, and acetone while maintaining low gas permeability and self-lubricating behavior. This 25% glass-filled PTFE formulation is selected when designers need improved wear resistance and stiffness without sacrificing chemical inertness.
