Parker Hannifin EPDM Elastomers
Parker Hannifin EPDM elastomer materials are designed for sealing applications requiring excellent resistance to water, steam, ozone, weathering, glycol based fluids, and environmental exposure. EPDM, also known as Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer rubber, is widely used in O-rings, gaskets, sanitary seals, diaphragms, valve seals, tubing seals, and custom molded rubber parts operating in water handling systems, steam systems, outdoor environments, and sanitary processing applications. These materials are commonly specified in potable water systems, food processing equipment, brake systems, HVAC systems, steam applications, and industrial fluid handling equipment.
Canyon Components supplies high quality equivalents to many Parker EPDM elastomer compounds used throughout industrial and sanitary sealing systems. Our team supports replacement O-rings, gaskets, sanitary gaskets, and custom molded sealing components manufactured from EPDM compounds for water systems, steam systems, and environmental sealing applications. We also provide engineering support for steam compatibility analysis, potable water requirements, and long-term sealing optimization.
Common names include: EPDM rubber, Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, steam resistant elastomer, water resistant rubber
